Grab 5 minutes out of your day to read an article this week, that could help you to reframe or jump-start your thinking.

I usually head to Harvard Business Review or Forbes for expert-penned articles with supporting research – and if you don’t have the time to search through, I’ve got one for you that might help you to think about the challenge of collaboration, which is so prevalent in many companies.

The authors’ research revealed that: “the greater the proportion of experts a team had, the more likely it was to disintegrate into non-productive conflict or stalemate” and “teams that are large, virtual and diverse [whether through background, experience or personal characteristics] are increasingly crucial yet those same characteristics make it hard for teams to get anything done.”

So what can you do to increase collaboration and team success? Have a read here and find out.

What are you seeing as the biggest blockers to collaboration with the people and teams you work with? Does this article resonate?
