There’s a reason that my business is called Make Real Progress.
In fact, I’ve lied. There’s three.
- We exist to make a difference to people’s performance and business results, not just deliver a great workshop or programme
- Progress wins over perfection – every time. And sustained, consistent action means progress. We help people find the quick wins and simplify the complex so they can take action.
- People report their best days when they make progress towards goals. Happy people are productive, engaged employees who deliver better results.
Harvard professor and author Teresa Amibile’s research found that 76% of people reported their best days at work when it involved making progress towards goals.
But how do you know if you’re making progress? How often do you stop and see what you’ve achieved, how far you’ve come?
Why not take a moment today to reflect on where you were 12 months ago.
- What did you find challenging?
- How have you tackled the hard things?
- What have you learnt from that?
Reflective learning works on so many levels.
I’d love to hear what progress you’ve made over the past year – leave a comment below.
